AGROBASE Generation II® is a Microsoft Windows®-based software product running on Windows ME®, Windows® 2000 Service Pack 2 or later, Windows XP®, Windows Vista® and Windows 7 (users must have Admin access rights for installation). Although AGROBASE Generation II can run on a Pentium 3® at 500 MHz, we recommend an Intel Core 2 Duo or higher processor, for optimum performance. RAM should be a minimum of 512mb, with 1 GB or higher, being recommended. The AGROBASE Generation II installation requires 85mb free disk space.
The user’s data files will require a further 25mb for a small research program, to approximately 1GB, or more, for a larger research or breeding program.
For LAN systems, AGROBASE Generation II runs on Windows Server®2000, 2003, 2008 and peer-to-peer network systems running on Windows®2000, or later. We support the installation and use of AGROBASE Generation II over Citrix® and Terminal Server® connections. The SQL version of AGROBASE Generation II requires SQL Server 2005, or later, including SQL Server Express (free from Microsoft) and SQL Server Standard Edition.
