New Seed Inventory Module

We are pleased to announce the release of the first version of the much-anticipated seed inventory module as of February 15, 2010. The module is available only with the SQL Server version of AGROBASE Generation II - another incentive to upgrade to the SQL version! This module creates seed lots from nurseries, experiments, or even just treatments, parents, and populations. You can handle multiple seed lots for any genotype, and use seed from any genotype's seed lots to allocate seed for a new experiment or nursery. You can merge, split, remove, add to, or create seed lots. Seed lot transactions are tracked for each seed lot. Reports and labels may be printed at many places in the seed inventory module. In addition, seed lot traits can be added and data imported into seed lot groups. For further information, including licensing details, please do contact us.

Special Pricing for Developing Countries in Africa

National research organizations in Africa, apart from the Republic of South Africa, can acquire software licenses for AGROBASE Generation II Version 18 for stand-alone PCs at a reduced price on an annual subscription basis. This special offer is currently available until July 31, 2010. If your organization qualifies, and you are interested, please contact us for further details. You might also want to consider the training course in Stellenbosch, March 18-19 and 22-24, when acquiring a new license in Africa.
