Analyze all your data with a few keystrokes?
Compare and track data from previous generations and years for populations & breeding lines?
View all the data for any of your varieties almost instantly?
Compare the performance of selected varieties across years, experiments and locations?
We realize that adopting new software for an agronomic research, variety testing, or plant breeding program is often a major decision. Just some of the questions that typically arise are:
Will the software meet my needs?
Does the software offer new, additional benefits that I don’t have with my current system(s)?
Is the software flexible enough to accommodate some of my specific needs?
Will I be able to easily and efficiently import my past data into this new system?
Is the software relatively easy to learn and how difficult will it be train others in my organization?
Overall, will this software offer a return on the investment for my time and effort as well as my organization’s financial resources?
Will the proposed new software system truly strengthen my research program and help me to gain a competitive edge?
Probably one of the best ways to answer the above questions is to take the software for a ‘test drive’ like you might with a new car. Accordingly, we can provide you with a full-functioning demo version of the software for a 30-day trial period. This demo version is only restricted by time – all the capabilities and features will be available to you. In fact, you can even import your own data, files, and past experiments into the demo version. Many researchers have found that by working with a potential new system with their own data, they can more readily evaluate the software. We will even ask you to send us some of your files, in confidence, if you would like, to help you set up a research group and give you a ‘jump start’ in your evaluation. Depending upon time zones and availability, we can also demonstrate the software right on your own computer over the internet. The demo also comes with a demonstration research group with some agronomic and variety testing trials as well as nurseries and populations in a breeding program so that you can immediately interact with the software and begin to appreciate its possibilities for your research program. And of course, we will answer your questions and assist you in any other ways that we can during the evaluation.
The demo version is available as a download. First, we ask that you provide us with some contact information and general information about your research program. Then, follow the steps to download the demo version and we will be happy to assist you during the evaluation. If your internet connection is too slow, or you encounter other problems, you can always request a demo version on a CD-ROM mailed directly to you.
